Streaming live view cameras between two sites connected via OSPF

Dears I need support for the attached network setup:

At site-1 and site-2, the CCTV management servers can see all the local cameras live streaming. The problem when I open the site-1 management server and remotely access the site-2 management server, I am not able to see the cameras live view.

I have seen this issue some time back... is this OSPF interface connected Layer 3 interface point to Point ?

not sure if this solve the issue :

have you enabled -   ip directed-broadcast  (on Layer 3 Interface and test it)

Hello,

if you have (OSPF) connectivity between both sites, there can only be a couple of reasons for that:

1. insufficient bandwidth

2. security settings on the management servers and/or access lists on the Cisco devices disallowing the streams

What device/software do you use for the management servers ?

What is the best method to test bandwidth utilization (1 GE-SFP-UPLINK)?

I didn't configure any ACL on cisco switches, Is there any default ACLs?

The software is Milestone.

Note: Site-2 can view Site-1 cameras

Hello,

post the output of 'show interfaces x' where 'x' is the outgoing interface.

Are you using XProtect software ? Make sure this is not a licensing issue.

It's a remote site I didn't visit yet. (Show interface) to check the interface utilization only?

Exactly. A (very) congested interface would be a first indication.

Yes point to point both interfaces are configured with IP addresses shared on the OSPF routing table

I didn't configure this command can you please advise how to configure it properly?

Glad to know it all working and you made this resolve this thread ? what was the fix, if the ip direct-broadcast fixed  the issue ?

@Bazoka

if you have reachaability to everywhere, so you migh have some congestion on the network. Try to reduce the video settings on the dashboard of your cameras, might be aa good starting point, and check from where (your laptop) you seeing those CCTV you aare connected at least to 1 gbps.

I will aassume thaat your CCTV is using unicast instead of multicast, otherwise that is a different talk.
