Sup720Base & Module 6704-10G with DFC-3BXL

Hi Team I have a case but i don't undersand clearly. I have a Router 7609 with SUP 720-BASE (Not 3B, 3C). But on it, we attached the 01 line card WS-6704-10G with DFC3BXL daughter card. I see datasheet and know that:

SUP 720Base has maximum 256k routes on it

WS-6704-10GE: With DFC3BXL up to 1M routes

Now i have problem, i'm not sure, can it receive 1M BGP routes in this situation? Everyone can help me. Thanks

My understanding is, the DFC will "shadow" the main sup, so your DFC-XL will not support with more than 256K routes.

you are still limited to 256k routes as it is the supervisor and related hardware that writes the master copy of the CEF table. That master copy is then sent to intelligent modules.
