Hi,
Iam in a process of shifting the Links from Riverstone switch to cisco 6509.
When i was shifting the Links, one link was not comming up.
Here it is.
I have configured in Fa4/1 as
interface FastEthernet4/1
load-interval 60
shutdown
switchport
switchport access vlan 437
switchport mode access
spanning-tree portfast
end
I have configured the L2 Vlan
I have configured the L3 virtual Vlan as follows
interface Vlan437
ip address 1.1.1.5 255.255.255.0
load-interval 60
shutdown
end
when it is in shutdown mode when i give the command
sh vlan
It shows
437 XXXX active Fa4/1
But when i shift the Link and make unshut in both the interfaces.
the Link comes up
but
when i give Show Vlan
It shows like this
437 XXXX active
Can any one Help me out how this happnes.
