Hi, I am receiving traceback logs in the 881G with 3G module.
And after reload, the router is going to Initail Config mode.
Could you please let me know what the lates IOS is??
Current IOS I am using is c880data-universalk9-mz.151-1.T3.bin.
Also could you please let me know a better IOS for complete efficient use of the PCEX-HSPA-G Module.
Thank you
Arjun

Hi Arjun,
From the show version, I see that Configuration register is set to 0x2142.
This means that at each reload, the router will ignore the configuration and start with a clean one.
Try the following:
1. change the register:
Router#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Router(config)#config-register 0x2102
Router(config)#end
2. save the config and reload the router.
3. when the router comes back, try to reconfigure PSK and see if the crash reoccurs.

Hi Arjun,
do the traceback appears after some specific action? For example, when you configure something?
If you remove the 3G module, does it still appear?
Can you attach here:
- the traceback message
- show ver
- show inventory / show diag
Cheers
Marco

Hi Marco,
Sorry for the late reply.
I am unable to find the traceback error now as when ever I reload the router is going to Initial config mode. And there are no logs once I get in.
As far as I can remember, the traceback error used to come at the time of configuring the PSK part for tunneling.
I have attached the sh diag, sh inve and sh ver.

Yup.. reload part is fine now.
Isnt the Confreg what we do in the rommon mode valid till we reset / reload the router.
Why did it still have the 0x2142?

No, it remains until you manually change it back, in rommon or in conf t.
Let me know if you are able to reproduce the crash.
Cheers
Marco
