Traffic Shape

I have a question about the burst on the traffic shaping.

Look at an example:

CIR : 8000bps

burst : 1000byte

Tc : 0.25 seconds

The token buckets starts full at 1000 byte.

If a 450 byte packet arrives,token buckets is 550 byte.

after 100 time slice(10*.25=2.5), token buckets=?

,if nothing byte arrives.

(1000 or 550)?

At every Tc, the ucket is attemptedly filled with 1 Bc : if this makes it exceed its capacity the toeksn are wasted.
