traffic shaping on router port

Hi

There is router A and subinterfaces gi0/0/1.10 for internet access,  gi0/0/1.20 for office data, voip, media.   An interface 0/0/1 has traffic shaping on it. f.e till 10MB  

 

Questions:

1  If I apply qos on that int .20 should i calculate priority/bandwith for services from that 10MB ? 

2  I'd like to leave some bandwith for internet which will go trough gi0/0/1.10 but if its not used can that bandwith utilized by voip, media (which run trough gi0/0/1.20) ? 

3 Also is a difference between applying parent-child policy (with shaping and qos queuing ) under interface or subinterface ?

if i understand the question correctly yes if the overall bandwidth is 10MB, then the you have total bucket size of 10MB bandwidth, so it will be sliced from that bandwidth.
