Hi Experts,
Can i know please that how to configure same vlan with same IP subnet in two different locations and i thought that configuring GRE would be fixed but no result.
i did google and found that it would be possible by using L2TPv3 but my hardware is Cisco IOS Software, IOS-XE Software, Catalyst 4500 L3 Switch Software (cat4500e-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 03.03.00.SG RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3) so probably it would not support this.
Please help me on this issue.
Thanks in Advance
Faiz

You didn't describe what you're trying to connect across. However, 4500s, I believe, might support MPLS, and you can tie together L2 using Xconnect.

Hi Joseph,
Thanks for your replay and yes we can connect xconnect but my router seems to me which won't support xconnect or pseudowire
Suppose if we have two geographically separate area and where are two different routers but two router has same network subnet or
R1or L3 Sw-------------------internet------------------------------R2 L3-
1.R1 has two vlans or two subinterfaces like vlan 1 and vlan2
2.Vlan 1 network id 192.168.1.0/24 and Vlan 2 network id 192.168.2.0/24
3.From R2 or remote users want to access my vlan2 192.168.2.0/24 network as they virtually locally connected to 192.168.2.0/24 or vlan 2 network and there pc should be assigned 192.168.2.0/24 Network IP Range only from R1 or L3 sw DHCP Server.
Thanks,
Faiz
