Hi,

I'm having a Cisco C1111-8P - ISR 1100 8 Ports Dual GE WAN Ethernet Router in my organization running IOS Version SISR1100UK9-169 - Cisco ISR 1100 Series IOS XE Universal, Can anyone please guide me how to upgrade or degrade the IOS Version for above device via TFTP or any other mechanism if supported.

Thanks in advance.

Yes you must be in priv mode for upgrades , same as all models

You can do a hard reboot with .bin , just make sure it took in the show boot or show bootv

Router# configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Router(config)# boot system flash bootflash:isr4400-universalk9.03.10.00.S.153-3.S-ext.SPA.bin
Router(config)# config-reg 0x2102
Router(config)# exit
Router# show run | include boot
boot-start-marker
boot system flash bootflash:isr4400-universalk9.03.10.00.S.153-3.S-ext.SPA.bin
boot-end-marker
Router# copy run start
Destination filename [startup-config]?
Building configuration...
[OK]
Router# reload

Hi
what version code are you running depends on that , heres one from Fuji as an example but it can vary from package to package but not much

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your reply, but as i can see in shared document steps for upgradation can be used in privileged mode ?

Also can i use the below steps for upgradation of Cisco C1111-8P-ISR Router runnig IOS version 16.6.x or any above that.

copy tftp: flash:
Address or name of remote host []?
Source filename []? c1100.bin
Destination filename [c1100.bin]?

boot system c1100.bin

reload

Any help will be appreciated.
