Solved: Upgrade 4500x VSS

Hi Team ,

I would update 4500x VSS WS-C4500X-16SFP+ with cat4500e-universalk9.SPA.03.05.01.E.152-1.E1.bin to

cat4500e-universalk9.SPA.03.08.06.E.152-4.E6.bin I ask if necessary to do intermediate jumps , that way I will use reboot mode no ISSU.

You can upgrade directly to 3.8.X but only after upgrading the ROMmon.

Please refer to Upgrading the System Software which states:

If you are upgrading to Cisco IOS XE Release 3.8.xE and plan to use VSS, you must upgrade your ROMMON to IOS Version 15.0(1r)SG11.

Update successful I use the command redundancy reload shelf To reset both the VSS active and standby switch.
