upgrade CSR1000v steps

hi,

I am going to upgrade my CSR1000v. and I have done this many times before. but I just found a link below.

All I did before was simply copy the new .bin file to my CSR then change the "boot system" to the new version, then reboot the CSR. Do I have to do the steps from above link, such as "config-register", and "load from GRUB Mode"? are there any problem if I am just change the "boot system"?

i do not see any difference, you can use both the mode as per document.

do you any special concern or which stop you to upgrade please let us know.
