My question is ?

Does anyone know an IOS version (bgp bundle) wich could be used to have 6509 as a router?

Thanks,

Rosa

Rosa,

As long as you have an MSFC (MSFC 2, 2a, 3 etc...) installed you can use it as a router.  There is no such thing as BGP bundle.  The feature sets are based on the IOS version you install and based on the amount of memory, flash card and the license you have.  For example the later IOS versions (SXI1, 2, 3, 4 etc...) are all about 150MB, so you would need a big enough flash to load the IOS.  You also need to have at least 256MB of memory or more to run the IOS.

Typically, if you have an older device, it will require hardware upgrade before you can run a newer IOS version on it.
