Using GLBP with CEF

I have an issue with VPN connections being dropped when I have CEF enable, while using GLBP. I'm assuming that as connections are load balanced between the gateways by the active GLBP router, and that the client GLBP router doesn't see the right CEF table entry for the connections and drops the packets. Anyone every messed with this? I really would like to enable CEF. The GLBP session span our two internet router running BGP-4.

Hi all,

well your question is good but could you please explain litle more and where exactly you want to enable cef on router of switch.

if on switch then their is no problem ecause all router will use the physical mac address of the router interface and arp entry for this will be maintained always .

I want to enable it on the same routers that are functioning as the GLBP. I'm running BGP-4 on the routers Serial interfaces (facing the outside) and running GLBP on the ethernet interfaces (facing inside). Current I have CEF disabled, and everything works fine. Once you enable CEF, VPN and Cirtix connection are affected. They seems to connect, but the sessions will disconnect after a few minutes.
