very HIGH CPU on 3750 switch stack(high CPU interupt)

We have very high CPU on a 3750 stack switch stack we use as our core switch.

I used the documentation here to troubleshoot

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/troubleshooting/cpu_util.html#wp1034726

Our 'show cpu process' showed very high interupt values(~22%) and I got this from our debug logs:

We are also seeing very high icmp in our cpu-interface:

#sh controller cpu-interface | i icmp

icmp              453936786  0          0          0          0

icmp              0            0

(Taken just after)

#sh controller cpu-interface | i icmp

icmp              454015979  0          0          0          0

icmp              0            0

show processes cpu

CPU utilization for five seconds: 69%/23%; one minute: 72%; five minutes: 74%

Has anyone else seen this problem before or have a understanding of how to fix it?

Thx!

We solved our problem it was caused because we were routing in and out the same L3 interface.

Fixed this issue and our CPU dropped dramatically.

How did you fix it ?
