Im not sure this is even possible and if it is how to configure it but take the following setup...
PE - - CE 4500 - - LAB 3750.
Lab wants to create a VRF that will passthru the CE and land on the
LAB3750
The WAN circuit terminates on the
4500
and typically I would create the
VRF/BGP on the 4500(CE)
I think the LAB believes we can just configure the
4500
as a passthru and have the
VRF/BGP
running on the
3750
Is this possible?

You could try creating
L3VPN
between PE and LAB. What kind of device is PE? Use
4500
only as underlay.
