When i am trying to break the password for the exixting 3750 catalyst switch.After renaming the file name Switch gets stuck prompting message !!!Waiting for Stack Master Election (around 30 seconds)...!!!!.Kindly confirm the error is it relaed to IOS or Hardware......
Stack election normally takes 30 seconds. You can't "break" it.
Make sure you don't have any stacking cables connected and enable "switch # priority #" to lower the election process.
