WCCP configuration is not taking effect in Cisco 6500 switch SVI interface
I configured WCCP in SVI interface of the Cisco 6500 switch which is in our branch. This switch is acting as core switch for this branch location. However we are not advertising any default route to the branch locations from our data center branch. I applied WCCP redirect in SVI interface of vlan 150, i noticed that traffics are getting redirected if we have a specific route in the 6500 switch for the destination like google, yahoo subnet, if we do not have a route for the destination, then it reaches the SVI interface and not entering to wccp which is defined in the SVI interface. I am using this WCCP tunnel to redirect the internet traffic to my juniper proxy which is in the data center. Kindlly advise if I need to make any change in the switch which can enable the traffic to enter to WCCP instead of putting a defaulte route in my branch core switch. please find the configuration as below
