in terms of capacity 124xx series is more powerful than 7600. 7600 architecture is same as of 6500. For GSR there are different CSC and SFc cards which are responsible for switching and with redundancy.

This is does not make any difference if we use normal 12406 IOS or XR IOS,

i mean it will be 12406 more powerful than 7606 with RSP720-3CXL also if we run normal IOS not XR IOS in the 12406, or there will be performance degration.

"the 12400 is fully distributed what about the 7600 and what is make 12406 more poweful."

To say the 12406 is more powerful than the 7600, you would need to qualify particular attributes. For instance, the 7600 with sup/RSP-720 provide more fabric bandwidth than the 124xx.

"what is the architect of the 7606 which not make it fully distributed"

Support for classic bus, support for sup32, support for fabric line cards without DFCs.
