What SPA to use for ATM DS3 on ASR1000 Routers?

Hi,

Am trying to find out what is the suitable SPA for ASR1000 routers to connect ATM DS3 through the local telco. Currently this is connected to a NM-ATM-DS3 module on a C3845 router. The reason for asking is we need to upgrade the WAN router to ASR1000. Hope someone can help.

Hello Chang,

no ATM DS3 SPA is listed for ASR 1000

I'm sorry to give you bad news

or you upgrade the access circuit to OC-3 or you cannot connect the ATM line to the ASR 1000, or you would need an external ATM switch to perform speed adaptation

That was my conclusion as well after browsing the Cisco docs for half a day. Just wanted confirmation in case I missed something.
