I have a issue on my Cisco C1100 ISR routers when I create a new extended ACL and go to run a show ip access-list "NEW ACL" nothing shows up but if I simply run show ip access-lists I can see the extended ACL I created.

I do not understand clearly the original post. Perhaps the original poster can post screen shots of the command that does not work and of the command that does work?

if I simply do a show IP access-lists I can see ALL the ACLS in the router including the newly created on. If I do a show ip access-list "SHOW ME THE ONE I JUST CREATED" the router shows nothing but the router prompt

I did use numbers in NEW ACL. 10,20,30, so on. I run a show ip access-list I see all ACL's including the one I created. DO a show access-list NEW ACL, router comes back blank

You have given us verbal description of what you enter. It would help us if you would show us the exact command you enter and the output (or no output) that you receive.
