Which ios version should i be using ?

Which ios version should i be using for my 2610 & 2611 routers. I was told they have been sitting since 2003. Thanks for any help.

The current version is:

Hi, i've checked with Cisco FN and your running IOS 12.3 IP/FW/IDS PLUS IPSEC 3DES BASIC. If you still need all of that features (feature-set), i would probably go with the GD-release and with this platform and it looks like 12.2(26c)...12.3 seems to have Release Deferred.

This platform has done it's job and maybe you should look into swap them to something new and wonderful.

If the router's IOS version meet your needs, then you might consider keeping to the same IOS train, but just migrating to the latest of it.  (The latter, in theory, would be the most bug free.)
