I just put a 6182 controller card in my Cat6500 - when I set the 10/0/0 timeslots I don't get a

interface Serial10/0/0:0 - Like I would normaly see from a controller card. They only thing I see is

interface Port-channel10

no ip address

controller T1 10/0/0

channel-group 0 timeslots 1-14

description XXXX

!

controller T1 10/0/1

channel-group 0 timeslots 1-24

!

controller T1 10/0/2

!

controller T1 10/0/3

.........

The Port channel - show ? I am not familar with this can someone explain?

Port-channel10 is up, line protocol is down (notconnect)

Hardware is EtherChannel, address is 000d.662c.ea8a (bia 000d.662c.ea8a)

MTU 1500 bytes, BW 100000 Kbit, DLY 100 usec,

reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255

Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set

Auto-duplex, Auto-speed

Hello Gabrielle,

you mean you have a flexwan module installed? WS-6182

What type of port adapters is placed into the flexwan module you can check this with

sh diag

you can find here a list of supported T1 port adapters

int port-channel 10 is another object and it is related to etherchannels not to ports in slot 10:

you can check etherchannel defined in this system with

sh etherchannel summary
