Can vEdge be totally unreachable from vSmart by making a configuration mistake?

I wonder what happens if for instance someone will configure vEdge mngmt port in VPN512 as shutdown?

If the device is in a "vManaged mode" how can it be unlocked?

Is there any mechanism preventing the devices to be totally lost to controllers?

Thanks in advance!

You can set "device rollback timer" while attaching a template. When you attach a vEdge router to a device configuration template, if the router is unable to successfully start after 5 minutes, it returns to, or rolls back to, the previous configuration For a configuration that you have created from the CLI.

control plane tunnels are established over transport vpn 0, so if someone shutdowns vpn 512, it won't have any big impact except device won't be reachable via management interface anymore.

Please contact TAC for assistance in such situations.
