DNAC is an orchestration system, and its function is orchestrated between service necessary to client have full network usability.
Not sure which DHCP server you use but I will use my experience with Infoblox and DNAC. For Infoblox you can integrate both servers and then you can create DHCP scope on the DNAC and apply those DHCP scope to Infoblox via API.
Although the DHCP service continue to be under Infoblox responsibility, the DNAC now have the visibility of DHCP service.
