Cisco SDWAN Routing Related

Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing well.. this is my first question in this community related to Cisco SDWAN solution. I have been recently asked to migrate an existing iwan solution cisco sdwan solution in different phases. The first phase is to run the network parallel, in which we would be converting one of the existing ISR routers to SDWAN and the other router will continue to run into IWAN.

I want to know how should I do the routing in this case? we want the legacy traffic to traverse via IWAN and the SDWAN traffic to traverse via the newly formed fabric. However; we also want IWAN and SDWAN to be a backup for each other, in case one of the path fails. I have attached a rough diagram herewith. Any help regarding the routing and traffic flow scenarios, would be appreciated.

You could use routing with metrics to accomplish that. You could, for instance, use BGP with local preferences to have routes over both fabrics with the preferred method having the higher local.
