This topic came up recently on our deployment... Loopbacks have the colors but no binded interfaces to the underlay ethernets. The underlay ethernets are basically just routed interfaces. We have 2 Providers. What are the advantages/dis-advantages to this approach?.. Seems like the colors could go 2 totally different physical paths unless we do some restricting of the tlocs and forcing paths but doesnt that add the overhead of complexity?.. Which way would you go or not "to bind, or not to bind is the question":.. lol... The sdwan routers will have two loopbacks each.... each with their own color of course say private1 and private2 (no natting).
Thanks, Mike
