Hi Abzal,
Thanks for sharing your question
In terms of SD-WAN connectivity, you can use any transport in order to establish your underlay.
Colors can be the following:
3g, biz-internet, blue, bronze, custom1, custom2, custom3, default, gold, green, lte, metro-ethernet, mpls, private1, private2, private3, private4, private5, private6, public-internet, red, and silver
On SD-WAN devices there is no license in order to establish connectivity with your controllers and edge devices. We just need to be sure that the Organization name and Certificate Match in order to be authenticated by the vBond.
Depending of your network setup you can use 1 vSmart but is suggested to use 2 in order to have one as a backup.

Hi J & J,
I understood that the management segment among the controllers should be the VPN 512. If for some reasons that was not possible would be feasible to use VPN 0 instead or this option is a no go?
Regards,
Gio

Hello Gio,
Thanks for your valuable question.
Unfortunately that's not possible. VPN 512 is only for management as it was designed and created for this purpose only. VPN 0 is for transport purposes only also.
Kind Regards
