I have been playing around centralized control policy creation on vManage and its very frustrating to create a simple policy. I somehow made the policy work as per my need, but still couldn't understand a few things.
See my attached screenshot of the policy. This seems to be working as per my need, but wondering how this can work!!!
In the first sequence 1, I am matching on ROUTE and in later another sequence 21, I am matching on TLOC. In my case, both sequences are matching and both actions(setting the route preference to 500 and setting the TLOC preference to 5000) are performed by the policy. How is this possible? My understanding of any policy flow is, if one sequence is matched, action under that sequence is performed and no further checks would be performed down in that policy, right? So, how come, within the same policy, two sequences are matching and taking both actions? Is it because one is matching on ROUTE and the other is matching on TLOC?
Any thoughts?
