For the SD-WAN Bulk API, when one calls state and statistics endpoints, how delayed are the results, i.e. how often are the backend data updated?

Thanks

Hi Prodrick,

which specific endpoints are you using?

Here are a few from this reference: https://developer.cisco.com/docs/sdwan/#!bulk-api/bulk-api

State

Statistics:

If i recall, Bulk API state endpoints return data that is updated every 30 seconds. The statistics endpoints return data that is updated every 5 seconds. This means that the results of a call to a state endpoint may be up to 30 seconds old, and the results of a call to a statistics endpoint may be up to 5 seconds old.

Starting from Cisco SD-WAN Release 20.6.1, Cisco SD-WAN Manager supports below API limits:

  • API Rate-limit: 100/second

  • Bulk API Rate-limit: 48/minute

I am looking for an official reference document that specifies the refresh frequency

If its not in the https://developer.cisco.com/docs/sdwan/#!bulk-api i would not know where to suggest you look. If you get no reply here i would suggest raising this with TAC.

Hope this helps.
