SD-Wan controllers on Cisco cloud

Hello,

Our company has purchased DNA-C-500M-E-3Y license for SD-WAN deployment with ISR4431 ISR Edge routers.

Will it be possible to provision the controllers (vmanage, vsmart and vbond) on Cisco Cloud as a service or they are limited to on-prem deployment only ?

@techno.it Most of the deployments of SDWAN controllers are on the cloud. So answer to your question is Yes, you can get the on cloud option for Cisco SDWAN controllers.

I have got Essentials license, does Cisco can provision all controllers on Cisco hosted cloud?

As per my knowledge for cloud hosting deployment, Advantage licensing is required or is it only needed for public cloud like AWS.

@techno.it : It's a Cisco DNA Center License DNA-C-500M-E-3Y and is not for Cisco SDWAN Viptela. But you can check the below link

I haven't seen that only advantage or premier licenses can be used, at least there is no restriction in SD-WAN CloudOps guide.

But thank you and @inderdeeps for clearing the doubts.

So it can be concluded for reference purpose to others that with DNA essentials SD-WAN license, cloud based controllers deployment is still valid option. Cisco will still spin up vManage, vBond and vSmart on cloud after placing the order.
