IT seems like there is a lot of hype surrounding SDWAN putting pressure on companies to migrate their existing infrastructure away from something that was working and got the job done (such as DMVPN). I understand SDWAN can benefit with route and multipath optimization but it is not cheap and may also not have the best performance. DMVPN is not perfect but at the least solid in my opinion. Can anyone explain why it does make sense to migrate from DMVPN to SDWAN? .
