What is the purpose and benefit of SMC to SWC integration?

Can't seem to find much documentation on SMC to SWC integration and its benefits.

In the SMC 7.3.2 the option for integration can be found under Deploy > Stealthwatch Cloud.

Requires input to SWC URL, SWC USERNAME, SWC API KEY.

Any guidance greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think it's just to populate the Stealthwatch Cloud page under Dashboards. Might try using UDP Director to send a copy of data to SWC sensor and see what happens.

The integration provide a visibility into SWC findings inside a dashboard in the SMC, the benefits is for the enterprise edition user is easy access to the SWCe alerts, observations, detections in the cloud inside the same management console without having to go to SWC unless a deeper investigation is required on an alert or observation.
