Core issue
In PIX 7.x, the PIX shows high CPU usage and freezes the console access while configuring or compiling access lists. This behavior is observed with the service groups that have a high number of members and service groups of ports.
Resolution
This issue is documented in Cisco bug ID CSCsd46922 and is fixed in PIX IOS version 7.0(5) and later.
