How to Address This Vulnerability
Update the SEU/SRU
Make sure you have updated the Sourcefire Rule Update (SRU) or Security Enhancement Update (SEU) to the latest release.
Enable Appropriate Snort Rules
The Vulnerability Research Team (VRT) created the SIDs 1:30510 through 1:30517 and 1:30520 through 1:30523 to provide detection for this vulnerability.
Please note that the VRT always update the ruleset to address latest vulnerabilities and improve performance. Therefore you must update the SRU/SEU version, enable the required rules, and reapply the intrusion policy.
