Core issue
No translation slot for the internal host has been configured.
Resolution
Verify that a translation slot (xlate) exists for the internal host.
Examine the syslog output for message IDs 305005 and 305006 to determine the interface name that the packet came in on and the interface the packet for which the packet is destined. Then, check the config and verify the following.
- The host's address is contained within one of the nat statements on that interface, and there is a corresponding global statement on the destination interface.
or
- A static statement exists for that host between the two interfaces.
or
- The source and destination address is contained within an access list that is applied to the nat (interface) 0 access-list xxx command.
For more information on these commands, see Using nat, global, static, conduit, and access-list Commands and Port Redirection on PIX.
