Core issue
This error message appears when there are certain problems with the disk.
In this issue, the Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM) reports that the administration page is not found, and the dir command returns this error message for disk0:
Directory of disk0:/%Error calling getdents for disk0:/ (File not found in Inode table)
The same error appears if the code and ASDM image are copied to disk0: through a Trivial FTP (TFTP) site.
Resolution
In order to resolve this issue, complete these steps:
- Make sure the logging flash-bufferwrap command is not enabled in the configuration. If it is, remove it.
- Run a file system check on disk0: with this command:
hostname#fsck disk0:
- If the issue persists, reformat the flash:
hostname#format disk0:
[confirm]
hostname(config)#copy tftp flash (image)
This example shows how to copy an ASDM file from a TFTP server to the internal Flash memory:
hostname(config)#copy tftp://10.7.0.80/asdm522.bin disk0:asdm522.bin
