I have questions regarding to RMS resource requirement. For example, there are 6 radio channels , if we define a VTG to include 6 channels together. How many T1 DS0 channels are required in RMS for this VTG ?
Answer
After creating the VTG, each of the six channels will have a DS0 pair associated with the channel, so will use a total of 12 ds0's (or 6 ds0 pairs).
The IPICS Server dynamically allocates a DS0 Loopback pair (two DS0 channels) for each channel in an "ACTIVE" VTG.
