Cisco PIX - VPN between two dynamic IP Adresses.

Hello,

I would like to set up a number of Cisco PIX's located on the client ends to connect with a VPN connection to a server with a PIX who also has a dynamic IP adress. Is this possible? I was thinking in the line of giving the dynamic ip of the server a static dns entry with a dynamic DNS update service.

This would help alot for my small business clients who want vpn connections from home to their metaframe server who has a dynamic external IP-adress. Seeing as connections with static ip-addreses are 10 times more expensive for lower bandwitdh than those with dynamic IP.

Often times complex configuration issues are best addressed in an interactive session with one of our trained technical assistance engineers. While other forum users may be able to help, it’s often difficult to do so for this type of issue.
