Cisco Security Manager 4.17.0 - The client cannot connect to the Authentication Service.

Hello,

 

I am evaluating Cisco Security Manager 4.17.0. 

 

The Manager is installed on one server and I am connecting to it via the client installed on another server. When I attempt to authenticate after installation, I receive the following:

 

Error - Login Failed

The client cannot connect to the Authentication Service.

 

I have performed the procedure outlined in the following link but the problem remains.

Communication: 

The server is listening on ports 1741 and 443. I can telnet to the security management server from the server hosting the client software on these ports. 

 

Environment:

Windows Server 2016 Standard.

Hi,

experienced this issue too when I installed CSM v4.24 on WindowsServer 2019.

No issues before when I installed CSM v4.18 up to v4.23.

Access by Browser to CSM with :443 or :1741 runs into no issue, successful.

But Client cannot connect. All services are up and running.

So how do you fixed it? I am still not able to connect to CSM server from a client.
