Now in this case, i have 1 specific ACE i want to log, and that is a "permit" ACE. So if i'm not mistaken, that should be Syslog Message 106100, and that is by default level 6, where "notifications" are level 5.
I tried the command:
logging message 106100 level notifications
But got the message:
INFO: Please use the access-list command to change the severity level of this syslog
Now my question is: will it be enough on my "permit" entry in the ACL to just append the "log notifications" to it. Will that make the Message 106100 of that ACE automatically run on log level 5 (notifications)?
