VPN Client and DNS Records Question

My ASA terminates my VPN connection for clients. It points them to a AD DNS server we have running on the local LAN. Everything works fine as far with the DNS process of mapping their vpn client IP to their hostname , but when they disconnect the from vpn the DNS entry remains alsmost indefinitely and never expires. This causes conflicts later because then we get incorrect entries. We checked with Microsoft and they said it's not a DNS problem rather a VPN setting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Will rate posts.

Thanks.

This may require you to use a DHCP server, so the DHCP server can de-register.
