The evolution of networking and security technology is driving how network engineers, security professionals, and software developers need to prepare for the jobs of today and the future. Cisco also removed the prerequisites for certifications at the associate and professional levels; and also consolidated the CCNA certification program.

To earn the CCNP Security certification, you are also required to pass two exams: a core exam and a concentration exam of your choice. In this example, you can take the same concentration exam for CCNP Security and the DevNet Professional certifications.
