Hi Flavio,

Thank you for your answer.

I added www.google.com in the dns.

What do you mean by "ip HTTP Server" ?

Where should I add it ?

When you say PC must have connectivity to HTTP server, how do you do this
connection from the PC ?

Sorry for all those questions, I am an IT learner discovering Cisco Packet
Tracer.

Best,

Manu

Hi

Well, something really weird happend. Probably a bug.  The problem was on the DNS server. For some unknown reason, it wont work with IP 192.168.56.10. I change the DNS to ip 192.168.56.60 and it worked.

This can be a bug. Maybe you create some host with IP 192.168.56.10 previously and changed but the softwaew still see the IP 192.168.56.10 on the network. I dont know, just guessing here. The fact is, with IP 192.168.56.10 really dont work but once I changed to IP 192.168.56.60, it workd.

Go fegure.

Hi @Manu75

Dont feel sorry for questioning, please.  that´s how we learn.

You can add your PacketTracer file here and I will be more then happy to help you.

Save the packettracer file, zip it and attach here .

Hi Flavio,

Thank you for your feedback, please find attached my cisco packet tracer file.

What I am trying to do is to get connected to the internet through the option "Web Browser" in the computers.

I manage to ping www.google.com (see PING attachement), but I can't get to the web site (see Web Browser attachement).

Also I try to connect to other computers from the "Web Browser" option but I get the message "Server Reset Connection"

Best,

Emmanuel

Hi Flavio,

Thank you very much for this very interesting feedback, you found where the problem came from, and it was nice from you to take the time to look at it.

If you come by Paris - France one day to visit Eiffel Tower or Château de Versailles, I'll be happy to meet you and show you around.

Best regards,

Emmanuel

Hi @Manu75

Great to hear you got this to work. Keep doing the good work. You got trapped in this weird PacketTracer behavior but you did  everything right.

It is a dream of mine get to know your country and, of course, Paris.

Hope I can do this soon.
