Hmm, I've run into this before on a Nexus 7K which there was a bug. I had to reload the switch before it would go away.

Maybe it's the same issue for the 3K.

See the following post....

https://quickview.cloudapps.cisco.com/quickview/bug/CSCtg66487
or
https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCtg66487/?referring_site=bugquickviewclick

Can't find anything on the N3K in the bug DB.

We reloaded it so many times, no luck.

Time to call TAC.

We don't have any agreement with cisco, can we still use TAC ?

Are the devices covered under smartnet?

We don't have smartnet, I am afraid.

Okay, this is what I would do.

First issue the command "no debug all", second issue the command "clear logging ip access-list cache", reload the switch and try again.

If that doesn't work do the following..

During your next maintenance windows save your config off the switch to you computer, upgrade the switch to NX-OS version to at least Release 7.0(3)I6(1), final step unplug the switch and leave unplugged for around 5 min. Plug back in and load the running config if necessary.

For grins and giggles can you send the output from the following...

"show system resources"

Hope this helps.

oftware

  BIOS: version 3.9.0

  NXOS: version 7.0(3)I4(3)

  BIOS compile time:  01/25/2016

  NXOS image file is: bootflash:///nxos.7.0.3.I4.3.bin

  NXOS compile time:  9/2/2016 3:00:00 [09/02/2016 11:19:13]

We can copy run start without any configuration, but once we configure copy run start doesn't work.

Still same problem...

I bet you a million dollars that the memory cache is corrupted somehow. This is really bothering me.

I've seen it before that your startup-config may be corrupted and not allowing you to write to it. I believe your only recourse is to save the configs to your computer delete all files on the switch hard drive except the NX-OS OS, boot files running and startup configs and run the "write erase" command on the switch. The switch will reload once when that happens the switch config will be erased login into the switch and before you do anything do a copy run start to see if it works, then cut and paste your existing configuration into the switch.

We already did it, without any configuration it does work, once we configure and connect it to the network, it doesn't work.
