Nexus 3k (N3K-C3048TP-1GE) firmware upgrade path?

Hi all - looking to upgrade the firmware on a Nexus N3K-C3048TP-1GE which is running n3000-uk9-kickstart.5.0.3.U3.2b.bin and n3000-uk9.5.0.3.U3.2b.bin.  In searching I found this horrifying bug https://quickview.cloudapps.cisco.com/quickview/bug/CSCva97678 and really do not want to deal with that/I don't have TAC on this device.

What is the proper upgrade path for this device?  Are there any other "gotcha" versions I need to watch out for?

I think you will need to upgrade using the following:

 5.0(3)U3.2 > 5.0(3)U5.1 > 6.0(2)U6.2 > 6.0(2)U6.7

Upgrading devices under no warranty or support contract is a less than ideal situation :(
