We have 2 N5k switches with FEX and VPC port channel. It was upgraded from 5.2 to 7.0 and after booting the 1 switch the VPC port channels were disabled on the 1 switch and our network was down to the Servers.
Is this normal and can I upgrade from 5.2 to 7.0 without any intermediate updates?

Greetings.
for upgrade path requirements, but 5.2 should be able to go to 7.0 7.1 and later require 7.0
Might want to double check the issu checklist at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5500/sw/upgrade/705_N1_1/n5500_upgrade_downgrade_705_n1_1.html#pgfId-769873
Thanks,
Kirk...

Hi Kirk,
thank you for your feedback. I'll look at the articles and go through them.
Another question would be do I have to shut down all my systems even though everything is redundantly wired if I update once again?
