I am moving from 6500's to the Nexus 7k's. I had spanning-tree root priority for even vlans in core A and odd vlans in core B. Now in have two nexus 7k's with a vpc between. The vpc carries almost all the vlans. What happens now when I set vlan 10 to be the nexus core a switch. Will this still work or do all vdc vlans have to have the same spanning tree root bridge.
Thanks

You can do the same with the 7ks. You can set core A to be the root for some vlans and core B to be the root for others. The vPC between the 2 7ks carries all the vlans.
