How do you specify source IP or source Interface for SMTP and/or HTTPS traffic for CallHome in NX-OS?

You can't.  It will use the Management Interface as the source.

Management? Really? What if I'm using it for vpc peer keepalive between two 5Ks with crossover cable. This is weird.
