- Pair of separate UCS clusters, consisting of 5108 chassis
- Both with UCS Manager 2.2(6)e
- Each UCS cluster uses a pair of 6248UP Fabric Interconnects
- Fabric Interconnects connect to Nexus 5672UP pair via vPC
We're deploying a new app and finding while unicast flows between hosts on different UCS clusters works just fine, multicast does not. Hosts within the same UCS cluster are able to join a multicast group, but they never see joins from hosts on the other cluster. All hosts are on the same VLAN and can connect to one another just fine.
Is there a trick to enabling Multicast in UCS? Or perhaps the Nexus 5672 pair? Both are essentially running default configuration.
