Strange vPC issue

hi,

i have setup vpc for two hp servers which was working fine. but on vpc another server the first two went offline. i cant see any logs as to why the first two went offline and looking at the port-channel and vpc they both seem to be UP.  Each server has 4 ports (two port (portchannelled) going to each nexus). The HP servers are teamed as automatic mode.

The only difference i could find i highlighed above. I dont if flow control on/off will make a difference? what sort of teaming does the HP servers need ? for example if add another server and vpc this, then one of the above servers will break. i will have to shutdown the link of the broken server and no shut on port channel and then it will start to respond to ping. any thoughts why this would happen ?

Thanks

Hi

1. configs for port-channels on both peers has to be similar.

2. add here "sh vpc" - this should show us whether vpc was blocked and for what reason

Alex

show vpc seems to be fine on both peers. In the above only port channel is different from the other peer whereas the rest 2 port channels seems to be the similar config on both peers
