I have designed a basic datacentre with multiple racks with multiple switches in each rack.
For vMotion to work the Server moves within the sama vlan so how is same vlan is visible on multiple switches in the design?

It is just that the same vlan exist on multiple switches and there is also layer-2 connectivity between them.

Might be a stupid question, but by the same layer 2 connectivity, how would that be setup?

Not a stupid question at all.
Vlans are logical broadcast domains that can span across a single switch or multiple switches, regardless of physical proximity. So in your case, if you have 5 switches and one server is connected to switch one the other server is connected to switch five, you just create that one vlan across both switches or even across all 5 switches depending on your need. You would also need connectivity between these switches by daisy chaining them together or use an aggregation switch/router.
